The bible does refer to creative "days" but the term "day" can and does refer to many other things than a simple chronological period of 24 hours.

It seems likely that the earth is untold thousands or perhaps millions of years old. The Scriptures do not detail.

There is no specified period of time in the Bible for each day of creation. The scriptures say this... In the book of 1 Peter 3:8: However, let this one fact not be escaping YOUR notice, beloved ones, that one day is with Jehovah as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day.

This is not a literal period of a thousand years. It is an unspecified period of time. The reason for this is, the Bible speaks of 6 days on which Jehovah created and then on the 7th day He rested for creation. The Bible says that the 7th day has not ended yet and its already more than six thousand years from the creation of Man.

HOLY BIBLE says GOD created The heavens and earth and all else in 6 days and rested on the 7th day. however we don't know how long a GOD YEAR is compared to a man year, so no one can actually say exactly how long a time it actually took in " real time " as we know the world today.
