Spirit Guides... any truth to them or proof?

They are real
I've been seeing ghost and Spirits since age four, or I feel their presences, and either I feel what they are thinking, or they are communicating that way. I even felt God's presence and felt what he said to me.
I met this woman in NY, that has these same abilitys, perhaps ten time stronger, she helped me figure out some of what was happening to me.....There was one Spirit that was around me for more then half a year communicating in some way, finally I seen it, it was completely white shadow at the foot of my bed, glowing, it appear ti have a figure of a woman, she was pulling my blanket off me slow and gentlely, I went back to sleep, leaving it there at the foot of my bed, I even felt what she was thinking, he can see me". Two days later, she came back, and move some things like my pillow and flashlight and put them on my feet, and took another blanket off me and rolled it up into a ball and put it on the floor to where I saw her standing two nights before.This woman from NYsaid, " the reason why this SPIRIT guide, she said that she's my guide, did these things, was to let me know that I wasn't dreaming, that I did she her".My Spirit Guide was always very gentle, my sons mother got a back rub from her, and she touch me on my head softly, my son was two at that time, he seen her two, but she kept coming over to me during the night, The last time she came back, was the first time I spoke to her, I was a sleep, but my Spirit felt her come through the roof, and she float just over me, I put up my blanket to block, cause she was to close, I said go away leave me alone, I was so amazed, when I heard her speak out loud, She said two sentences, about seven words in each, and I did know what the first half was at the very moment, but her beautiful voice was so comforting to hear, that I wipe out the rest of the way, woke up hours later remember everything except for what it was she said, my first thought was she's an Angel, but this woman that knows a lot said it was my Spirit guide, and that she knows me from another life, and her name is Gretta, I spoke to another woman about this, she said what the nationality her name was, and it's the same nationality I am.
