Yes it is correct. Her house, her rules. If you want to stay out and party all night long without anybody saying anything, then get your own place. As for a 2 am curfew, that's not being unreasonable on her part. If you know you will be running late, give her a call and let her know. Moms do worry about us, no matter our age.

Yes, the reason she sets a curfew is because since you are living with her she worries about you when you are missing... If you have a curfew it allows her to rest a little in the evening because if it is one in the morning and you're not home she can relax a little knowing she gave you a curfew of two and you're still with your friends...
When you live on your own you can set your hours. In the meantime don't give the person who's offerring you a place to stay sleepless nights worrying about where you are....

Your MOMs House, Your MOMs game, YOUR mom's RULES...You don't like the rules then get your hiney out of your MOMS house.
You'll find ....MOM pays the bills, MOM pays for food, MOM pays car insurance, MOM pays tags for CAR, MOM pays utilities...MOM pays everything-----YOU pay zip, do zip, don't contribute zip and have no respect or appreciation what you do have.
MOM....you need to boot this disrespectful 18 yr old to the curb. Give her an eviction notice----Put her things to the curb....and don't let your home have a revolving door either!!! Make this kid wake up and realize what she had.....and don't let her back in when she FAILS either...It's called HOney you made your bed now go somewhere else and zzzzz in it!!
As you can tell I have no sympathy for you 18yr old....I'm a MOM of 4.....and Each one of the kids has done what you're decribing. The oldest 3 kept violating curfews and house rules and all of the oldest 3 found themselves to the curb. The 15 yr old still left at home and has learned MOM means business and she tries her best---not to relive what her older brothers went thru.

i do no longer understand what say being that I have been given married and moved out shortly once I became 17. yet legally they might do notwithstanding they like along with your curfew. You have been sturdy sufficient to hearken to them all and sundry of those years, a good style of youngsters could have snuck out each and every night and such lol. I in all probability could have. and because you're so close to to being 18 you are able to initiate any time you prefer! yet be arranged to get kicked out in the event that they like, as quickly as you're 18 i could recommend getting your very own place.

Yes.
Your parents pay for the home, they pay the utilities, buy the food, etc... while you are in their home you should follow their rules and respect their rules. IF you do not agree then move out... then you can stay out as long as you like.

there's couple of things you got to get it right in the first place.
#1, she's your mum, its her right to worries about her kids when he/she out the whole night.
#2, you're out, the house main door cannot be bolted, she can't help it but to stay up whole night just to make sure you're back home alive and well. (don't let your MOM stay up whole night worrying),
#3 (I presume you're single) Mom will never let go of you till you are married and setup your own family, Its a parent's nature to care and concern of their offsprings especially MOTHER!
However, a good chat between you and your mum might workout something ...... regular callback to "report" you are all OK or like extended hours on weekend?
Wish you luck !
