Has anyone ever used the Thermacare heat patches or Icy Hot or any other kind of heat remedy for a broken tailbone? If so, did it work or not?

no they did not work at all, my suggestion on those are the bengay patches theyhelp some, but lidocaine is the best, you would have to get that from a doctor. also maybe try a heating pad. maybe that will help if you are looking for heat only good luck to you hope you feel better

I can tell you that I bruised my tailbone and it hurt like crazy, the only pain relief I had was alcohol and LOTS of Ibuprofen. I can imagine what it feels like to break it. I used a heating pad and regular mentholatum, it seemed to help but you can never really get away from the pain. I'll bet that the heat patches would relieve some of the pain, or at least make it bearable.

i would not muck around with the style of harm I got here off my horse whilst i become sixteen and since the pony run off on the instant have been given up and ran after it. consequently I even have ongoing problems with my lower back. I see a chiropractor for conventional transformations, because of the fact the vertebra in my tailbone have compacted. some days I have no issues some days are hell . i would not have any injections into the area because of the fact the injections tend to grant a faux sense of alleviation and can actual make restoration time longer, yet I cant believe you havent seen a physician yet? stable posture is the considerable to each little thing walk tall take a seat tall and stretch
