You've obviously given this some thought, I admire thinkers :)
If you look in the Genesis account in 1:3 it says "God proceeded to say: "Let light come to be. Then there came to be light. After that God saw that the light was good, and God brought about a division between the light and the darkness. And God began calling the light Day, but the darkness he called Night. And there came to be evening, and there came to be morning, a first day."
God created the sun. The Bible refers to him as the Creator of all things, including the heavens and the earth.
Revelation 7:16, 17 says "They will hunger no more nor thrist anymore neither will the sun beat down upon them nor any scorching heat because the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne, will shepherd them and will guide them to fountains of waters of life. And God will wipe out every tear from their eyes."
In this verse, the sun and God are shown as two seperate things.
The sun may cause you to go blind if you stared at it long enough but as in regards to God. The Bible has this to say in Exodus 33:20 "And he added: "You are not able to see my face, because no man may see me, and yet live."
Also, in John 1:18 we read "No man has seen God at any time; the only begotten god who is in the bosom [position] with the Father is the one that has explained him."

No. God is the source of the whole Universe. How can god be the sun when there are so many suns(stars). This is the point I made to prove that extra terrestrial life may be out there
because god creatd the whole universe. Not just little Earth.

The Egyptians were the most advanced they knew the truth of things and they worshiped the sun. Everyone should take a good long look at why they did. I'm never going to stop until I find the ultimate truth.

Hardly. First of all, God is spiritual and his light is his truth, and his eternal divinity. The Sun isn't eternal, it's not spiritual, it's just physical, and God will get rid of the sun, as it's written towards the end of the book of Revelation. The sun operates under time, as well. God does not operate by our clock.

God created the Sun. so God disappears at night? It does not know what we are doing or see whats happening! how does it see and know? it is not in the heavens.. its in space.. heaven and hell are only visible after day of judgement. and if it is God.. why wud it be such high temperatures and BURN us when we get close or make our lives miserable by BURNING us during Judgement Day? only egyptians long long ago worhsipped the Sun.. dont go into all that.. its jibberish

im with huda here..... because we are not supposed to know what is God made of... and things of that nature i do not believe God is the sun. sometimes in islam the sun is used to describe God.. b/ we cannot look at but we can look at the moon. thats what prophets are in islam.... moons that show us the light of the sun. maybe your reasoning was not altogether backwards.... but i think that comparison only goes so far
peace be with you
God knows best
ps huda i'm dying to know how you made your avatar a hijabi?
