Well...first you have to go to a Muslim owned market and ask for Halal Chicken...then cook it the way you cook other chicken.
i hope you dont think Halal is a recipe it just means we kill the chicken differently.

okay, this is my style:
You'll need:
1 chicken
2 onions
1 green capsicum
2 potatos
2 cups water
2 cups yogurt
1 table spoon red chilli powder
a pinch of salt
cooking oil (prefer corn oil)
Mix the yogurt with red chilli powder and some salt and add chicken. Let sit overnight in the fridge
Boil the potatos till they are soft and the cover comes off easily and dice to large cubes.
Dice the onions and capsicum, add potatos and let them cook in oil until the onions are brownish red.
Add the chicken/yogurt combination to the onion/capsicum/potato and add the water.
Turn the flame to low and cover the cooking pot.
Let the chicken boil in the yougurt until it is tender.
Dinner!!!!!!!!!
Hope this helps :-)

Halal meat and poultry means -- something that has been sacrifised in the name of God. that is all life in the world belongs to Allah(God), so every life goes back to Him. thus when we sacrifise the animal, we say In the Name of God before slaughtering it. also the process of slaughter isnt harsh -- but is done with minimum pain afflicted to the animal.
u can try the usual recipes but just see to it that meat and poultry is halal and you dont add wine or cook in a pan in which you had cooked pork.
hope i helped. have anice day and peace.

Dear, halal is not about the way it is cooked, it is about the way it is slaughtered. And there is no muslim recipe, it depends on ethnicity of the muslim. Arab muslims' recipe's are different from Asian muslim recipes, etc.
Which country are you refering to?
Jenny, I do not think your answer is funny. Do you?
