that its ok for guys to have sex with a lot of women, but not for women to have sex with a lot of men? why is he being congratulated , while shes being called a whore? whats your opinion?

I agree, I dislike double standards. I always feel like God is the parent leaving you (females) to watch the rest of the house (men) and keep them in line. Because he knows they can't do it themselves, so if we lower ourselves to their standard - He's left the blind leading the blind. That's just how I feel, yo. Please don't rip into me over it;)

Its a guy thing. The general public tends to look down on women in many aspects. You might as well be asking why its ok that in some jobs men are allowed to dress casually and women have to where bussiness suits. Or why the hooters girls have to where tight clothes, and the male bar tender doesnt. It goes back to the early 1900s and before that when women were looked at as having to be house wives obediently waiting for their husbands to get back from work so they can tend to their every need. It is sexest, but that's the society that we live in today. Sorry.

The "double standard" exists only in the minds of those who actually believe that it IS OK for a man to casually have sex with many women.
Just as a woman who has lots of casual sex can be considered less than desireable, so should a man. When a man tries to brag to his associates about "scoring" with many women, he is merely making light of his inability to find one to love and commit to, and in turn make hisself content.
Don't believe in the double standard, and it won't apply to you. :^)

I think because girls are known to thinking emotionally and guys...not really at all...but seriously, guys think w/ more logic. So girls look for the feelings and don't understand the one night stands as much as guys do. Guys don't put any emotion into it and think of it as an object or even goal. This is always going to be a double standard in our society.

This is the age old questions. I think its our fault. We call each other whores. Instead of "congratulating" each other as you say men do, we go and ***** behind each others back and call each other whores, skanks, sluts!
