Everyone starts out as an E-1. Unless they have some type of training that lets them enlist as E-2.

FIrst and foremost Thank You for considering to serve our Country. Now the easiest way to tell what rank you will be when you join up is to look at your contract. On your contract it will tell you what pay grade you will be going in as. That will be your rank. If you can't find it then ask your Recruiter. He will be able to point out on your contract what your rank will be.

E1 just like any other branch when you enlist. You can achieve higher after boot depending on your rating and education (and contract).

You go in as an E1 (PVT) If you have a certain amount of college credits or you are an eagle scout, you go in as a E2 (PFC). If you go in as a PFC and you are sht hot during boot camp there is a chance you can come out as an E3 (LCPL). Rare but it does happen.

You always start at the bottom of the pole. After bootcamp, you gain your first real rank. After that, it goes via experience, exams, and time.

You will be a PFC(E-2) at best. Unless you are extremely talented and join the band you will come out as a SSgt(E-6)
