I think you need a new monitor if your blood sugar level was 7.2 you would be dead or in a coma. Depending on your age/weight/family traits 72 is a good number it is actually a little low should be closer to 90 when fasting. If you had tested after fasting and it was more than 130 I would suggest a visit to your doc. With it being kinda low you should visit your doc anyway you may be hypoglycemic which could cause you to pass out if your levels get too low.

Keep a piece of hard candy, or some OJ on hand if you feel dizzy or disoriented you should check your sugar levels if they are below 70 you need sugar right away. If your levels drop too low you will pass out and may never wake up...I would make a Doctor's appointment ASAP

dont worry, you are usinf a different scale mmol/ml, not the well known mg/ml, the normal is between 90-120 fasting in mg/ml, which is almost 3.5-5.5 mmol/ml.
now your 7.2 seems just a little high, on the edge of high if you like, but blood suger isnt mesured just by eating, if you had a small glass of juice before you had your blood sugar level, its possible to read higher, if you had eaten anything up to 4 hours before taking the test you will get a higher result as well,
you will be in a risk, if you are :
1- over weight
2-have a family history of diabetes
3-over 40 with a nonhealthy way of eating
4-if you rpregnant
5-having some upnormal stress, emotions ( sudden anger or fear or trauma)
I hope this is usefull, I would recommend seeing a doctor or a nurse just to make sure

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

It depends on the units your glucose level was measured in and how long you were fasting for. In Canada we use different units than the U.S. The normal range is 3.6 - 6.3 mmol/mL if you have been fasting for a full 12 hrs (no eating or drinking, a small amount of water is allowed). If your glucose was measured in mmol/mL and you were properly fasting then a glucose of 7.2 is elevated and you are at risk of diabetes. You should ask your doctor to do an oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) on you and the results of that test will let you know if you are diabetic or not.

Normal fasting blood sugar is 4.5- 6. If you are running 7.2, get the doctor to explain where to go from here.

7.2 sounds like your AC1 levels that kind of high should be lower. Normal blood sugar runs anywhere from 70 to 120

7.2 is not a blood sugar reading. Its not measured in decimal numbers. Try this for example .. 90 is normal, 200 is high.

I think a visit to your doc is on the cards to consider this matter further, that is a high sugar level & should be professionally moniterd.
