That happens to me too, skin gets all bright red in patches too.

Damn I hate it.

Using lotion has helped me whenever I break out like that.

Check the bath soap you use. Some bath soaps have such defects. This may be because the soap are fakes and they are sold to you as original. Like a local soap which I continued to use for 4 years and did not know that it was the one causing skin irritation. I kept using it and my doctor never knew it was the soap. It gives out a horrible smell 3 hours after bath. So i never knew that it was the soap not until I but another pack of the soap. Though the problem i had was that I do good in large quantity to cover certain period of time.

I will advice that you check the bath soap as well as the one you use for laundry. It may react whenever you sweat. Remember that the cloth you wore will get damp when temperature rises and you sweat.

After checking those 2 two try visiting a doctor if it doesn't work. But if you feel it will take a very long time visit a doctor and take those messures as well.

One more thing during the time I had the problem. I was the only person perceiving the odour.

Wish you the best.

Go to the doctor. You might have really sensitive skin or ecsema. Also, it might be the detergent on your clothes irritating you skin, switch to a free and clear detergent like Arm & Hammer. Maybe try switching body washes or bar soaps to a senstive skin formula. Also, it could be your water too, if you have hard water or if you live in the country anf have well water that could mean that your well water is not clean as it should be and it should be checked out by a professional. If none of these suggestions work then you should probably see the doctor or dermatologist, you might have a weird skin disorder and doctors can usually prescribe a pill or lotion for skin problems, nothing scary.

That's called miliaria rubra, or "prickly heat". What happens is your sweat glands are blocked and the accumulating sweat causes you to itch and in severe cases, you can break out into rashes.

Some things you can do include using lotions to keep your skin moist and more frequent showering.

Like you said, it usually goes away, but if you're really bothered by it, I suggest consulting a dermatologist.

It may be excess sugar in your blood stream. One of the earliest signs of diabetes is itch.
Another reason is is closed pores. Take warm baths, sauna every now and then and see if that helps.
