I found a web site with a long list of name including Diane Witt who was in the Guiness Book of World Records for the longest hair. There are several pictures of groups and some old picture from 19th century or 20th century.

We saw Crystal Gayle at the Bluebird in Nashville on Wed September 19, 2007 and her hair was within 5 inches of touching the floor and it looked great...we have pictures!

nobody tha i can think of , I had an aunt who in the late 70's tried to outdo her but she kept getting headachesher hair was just as long, after a couple years she cut it down to shoulder lenght. I cant beliece crystal's hair is still that long after all these years.I wonder if she gets headaches too?

Cher's use to be pretty long back in the Sonny and Cher days, don't know if she topped Crystal though.

That hair is just TOO long. She has to get the ocassional headache or neckache.

i have a friend who may not cut her hair because their community thinks that the Bible is against that.
Her hair reaches her knees, it doesn't look very good though.
