desalination of salt lakes? how is this done?

I want to produce approx 2000 litres a day from salt lake water into clean potable water? what is my solution?

There are a variety of means used to desalinate water. Forms of distillation (evaporing the water off), membrane processes that work by a form of osmosis, and freezing are some of them. The most common methods are reverse osmosis and flash distillation. Either will probably work just fine for you, if you can afford to build such a plant.
