see my girlfriend and i are still in highschool in fact this is our senior year. she is getting tooo gold diggerish. she wants me to buy her a bracelet for her birthday coming up in 2 weeks and she already showed me in advance what she wanted. i saw the price and it was about $300. as soon as i saw it i told her ARE YOUR CRAZY? my mom told her it would look sooo pretty on her. i guess cause my family has money she wants me to buy her that bracelet. i DON'T want to. i think that is too much for a 17 year old girl. she said if i don't she will be angry. should i dump her on my birthday and then say HAPPY BIRTHDAY?

Do not buy the bracelet. She's using your family's background to get what she wants out of you. Don't dump her on her b-day because that would be really mean and hurtful for someone to have to go through on that day. Instead just get her what you want to give her and if she isn't happy with it then that's too bad on her. By the way I would dump her a few days after wards if you don't want to be with her anymore. She's a user and you can do better than this. You don't need a girl that only cares about material things. She wants things given to her on a silver platter and you don't need to be the fool that serves her. Be a gentleman about this until her b-day, and after wards move on with your life and find someone that will appreciate and love you for you, not your family's money.

do not dump her on her birthday - that would be mean. Instead, and before her birthday, tell her that you do not plan to buy her the bracelet. If she gets upset, tell her that the two of you need some time apart and you hope she calls you if and when she wants a mature relationship.
Then enjoy the $300 you saved!

Well how long have you two been together, if it hasnt been very long then i dont think you should by it, tell her that its too much for this early of a relationship, if she gets pissed off and leaves you then it was for the better. Just shows that she really is a gold digger. But if you guys have been together for quite a while then yea i would go ahead and get it for her.

Definitely do NOT buy it. She has no right to even ask you.
When someone gives a gift, it usually means a great deal.
If it doesnt, then it's not worth giving.
Actually you've got the best answer to your own question.
You dont want to.......so dont. She can be angry on her birthday if she chooses to. MAIL her a card only....that says, Happy Birthday. Then ENJOY your senior year!

do u have the money for it?if YOU dont have the money then just get her an equilly pretty bracelet for cheeper.and if she gets mad then tell her that u didnt want ur parents to pay for it cause then it would have been from them and not u.she should realize that its not what u get but who she got it from and the thought that counts.if she still gets mad the fu** her.if she cared about u then she wouldnt care about money and expensive things.my man is in jail right now and is gonna have nothing when he comes home cause of his ex.but atleast i have him.i dont care about money and shi* like that.she should realize that.so if she dont like it then u can do better.Good luck and hope it works out
