Unfortunately, love allows no choice in the matter. There is no stopping chemistry between two people regardless of their situation. Is he into you too? If so, it's whether you do anthing about it that is the question. If it's strong enough, he will somehow become available. I am in the same situation and have fought for over a year to control my feelings. It's killing me, and the more distance I put between us the stronger the feelings. Nothing has happened, just eye contact and small talk, but I want to push it now to get it out of my system once and for all. I am becoming obsessed and want my life back. Hope this may help you. Good luck.

Make a set of rules about what kind of sitituations you can be with this person (should the two of you be alone? in private? in public?)

Make a list of why this person is a bad choice. Everytime you see yourself starting to fall for something they did, think of one of the reasons why this person would not work.

Go out with other people. Focus on people who are available.

If you have a friend who doesn't mind the burden, see if they can keep you in check with your feelings and reality. Sometimes you need someone else to remind you why this person is off-limits and why it would not work.

Your question has the answer. The good part is that you can define off-limit....many a times it happens a person can't even define his or her type, or within limits. Assuming you being a rational person, if you feel the person is off-limit, you can surely avoid him/her by giving excuses which clearly points out your intention, without hurting the person. It depends on you, how you play the game-by your rules or somebody others. Define your scope and abide by that. Take care

You say the other person is off-limits. This opinion you might have experienced yoorself (.ie. the person is known to you) . in othercase , the person may not be knowing about you, but you are cautioned by your friends.

whatever may be the case , try to avoid the person either in a group or individually. or else don't bother.

Since you already know the person is off limits, u know well in your heart that u should not be falling for that person. look at the negative qualities in that person..that will help..

Dear lady! If you can you visibly tell your heart to identify such a person, how wonderful! I dont think this can be acheived!

However, if you meet with such a situation! I'd suggest you begin trainning yourself with advice about such a person. If you repeat these things in your mind time and again, you subconscious mind will soon get atuned to identify such a person on sight and maybe this would help you avoid what you dont want to do!

It is a judicial practise - Even a culprit can escape but innocent should not be punished.
But in finding friend (life partner should be best one) you must be very careful.
Doubt even the good. put to test Then accept.
Then you behave like one good friend. Don't cheat.
