Well, I'll be honest here (even though it probably won't add to my popularity). I reported you *once* last night (or night before, can't remember which) because you were spamming the board. There were numerous questions posted that you answered with the exact same message & link every time (including one of my own) whether or not it applied to the question at hand. While you may not have intended to violate the TOS, spamming is prohibited and it's certainly pretty annoying when you see the same thing over and over and over and over again.
I only reported you once, but maybe others reported you for the same. It's entirely possible. Irregardless of who did the reporting or how many times it was done, YA reviews all reports and makes the decision as to whether or not a violation has indeed occurred.

I use to get violation notices on my e-mail that explains why I was being given violations but not anymore.
Since that time, I explain my side to Yahoo! Answers Team while I'm in the Yahoo! Answers site.

Check your e-mail account (the one you gave when joining the site). There you should have e-mails explaining the reasons for the violations. This doesn't guarantee the reasons are fair, but at least you get to know what pretext someone used to get you out of the way...

I've had a couple of "violations" and no clear reasons why. I think some folks are just too sensitive and report any question or answer which they deem mildly offensive or insulting or whatever. I wish these "reporters" would just go away!
