1) Realizing you are a sinner
2) Realizing that you cannot save yourself, nor can any other human
3) Coming to understand that God sent his Son Jesus to the earth to die for your sins
4) Desiring to be forgiven for your sins through Christ's mercy
5) Being baptized, accepting Jesus as your Savior, and having the Holy Spirit may enter your life
6) Repenting your sins
7) Growing and changing by seeking God's will, regularly repenting, studying God's Word, and listening to the instruction given you by the Holy Spirit
8) Carrying the message of salvation through Christ Jesus to other people

Christianity is supposedly about loving others, regardless of who or what they are. The golden rule of Christianity is to treat others how you'd like to be treated. Christians should try to help others, to forgive wrongs without being vengeful and to respect all life. In practice, though, it doesn't always work out that way. Some Christians foster hate for people who get abortions, for gays and for members of other religions. A great deal of harm is done in the name of God these days.

CHISTIANITY - it speaks about your relationship with GOD.
When you say you are a "CHRISTIAN", it means that "CHRIST" is in your heart, in your life, and you have committed your life to HIM.
In the bible it says: "Jesus is the way, the truth and the life" and NO one comes to the Father except thru Jesus.
You have to pray...
IF: you accept that you are a sinner
THAT: Jesus is the only way going to heaven
THAT: if you accept Him to come to your life and be your God forever
THAT: you will commit yourself to Him
AND: Accept Him to come to be the KING of your life
THEN: you are now a "CHRISTIAN" in Christ Jesus!

It's about accepting Christ as your savior and trying to live your life as He did. It's about asking him to come into your heart and change you from the inside. It's about hope and forgiveness and the promise of eternal life.
