why must guys hit women? are all guys secretly like that need to control their girlfriends ? why do they find what makes u tick and torment u with weakness they find?

It's all about being in a position of power over somebody else. That kind of situation is addictive to some men. It's a bit sad, but some people just feel that way.

For one thing if a man is hitting his gf then it's him with a problem not the gf. Men like that like to think that they are in control so they do whatever they can to take that control for their gf. Whether it be physical abuse or verbal it's all about control. Unfortunately to many women think that they do something wrong and that's not true. Doesn't matter what they try to do to make him happy he never will be. The gf needs to say enough and get the hell away from him. Seek counseling because if not you'll end up getting into the same situations over and over. The gf needs to realize that he has the problem and it won't change no matter what he says. He'll say it won't happen again but it will. The cycle keeps going. Get out of the situation asap!!!

I am sorry for what happened to you. They do it cause that is how they feel. So insecure that need to control someone to feel like a real man. Most times they are picked on by other men or even beat up so they go for women and people who can not defend against there straight. Its nothing you did or anyone did it is just something that is going on in them. It is sad and it makes them very pathetic. If you find your self in this situation I hope you get out very fast before get too bad that he really hurts or worse. Good luck. I hope i have helped.

Not all guys do this, I was in a bad relationship for about 3 years with a very abusive man, I finally got away from that, which i should have done alot sooner, but thank god, we never had children. Now,6 years later, I have a wonderful man , who loves me very much, and I was very skeptical of him, for a long time, but we have been together for 4 years now, and it is great, so just find yourself a real man, sometimes, women continue to pick losers, be more picky & good luck

Honey, people will only treat you how you allow yourself to be treated. It took many years for me to learn that. I've also learned that not all men want to abuse their girlfriends...there are "good" guys out there and with a little patience, you'll find him. Until then, if it's you on the receiving end, do yourself a favor and let this guy go...you deserve better...better will come along, and this is just a waste of your time, love and energy. Spend that on someone who can return the sentiment. You'll be better off in the long run.

I'm positive that not all guys hit women. The guys that do do so for different reasons. One of them may be that they cannot control their anger. They let their emotions run away from themselves till they vent in an unsavory way. That still is no excuse but it is one explanation.
If you are in this situation get out immediately. Find help with friends, family and or the authorities.

sometimes you meet someone and think this man is nice then you end up being in a relationship with then for 15 years have 2 children with then frighten to leave you have tried a few time and he manipulate you and you go back.
the abuse is frighting everything you do he just picks at you feel ashamed and week your emotional trying to find a way out of this unhappy life. 15 years later you get up one morning and pack's his bags and tell him to leave, he gose but he starts calling your daugther every day telling her lies manipulating a 14 year old child what do you do she is finding it hard to cope she starts giving trouble getting in to trouble and he dose not care he still keeps chipping away at her wea lso have a12 year old son which he dose not call only calls him if he cant get hold of the daugther i am scared for her because if i stop her from talking to him it will only make things get more out of controll

They don't have to hit women... They are insecure and lash out... Most women can't fight back and so they beat them or children... It's a real problem with some guys.
However, the majority of guys DON'T...
Although after some of the women I've known... I would never support wife beating, but I UNDERSTAND IT!!! I can see why some guys turn Mr. Hand into Mr. Fist...

Geez, why do abuse questions always start out with the assumption that every man hits thier woman?
Here's a good bit of advice....if your man is hitting you GET OUT! Nobody is going to garner sympathy in that way. If you don't leave, you are by implication, saying it's ok. I'm sorry that some women have that low of an opinion about themselves, but it is apparantly true.
