Its easy to say that God is the creator because we cant actually answer or prove that this is the case so it is just assumed that this has to be the answer because of the design theory. Everything has to have been designed by something e.g. an architect designs building, a watch is designed by a manufacturer etc. However did it ever occur for us to stop and think - are we just something in a whole lot of nothing? If the universe is never ending shouldn't it just be assumed that it is nothing. Therefore there is no God - just a whole load of nothing that will always be there till the end of time. The reason why we were created the way we are is because millions of years ago some explosions happened and a large, volcanic rock formed the earth and we have been evolving ever since.

That's a very good question. I would like to see some answers myself. I've given that some thought. I think the question touches the very nature of God. One of my theories is that it is a mystery to be revealed at some time in the future. One of my thoughts was that since God is Holy, and is Good, that God is the essence of Goodness itself. Nothing good comes without God. So Good had to exist, thus God exists. So with nothing there would be no Good. But Good had to exist, and it was good that there would be God. Sort of an equation. Existence = Good = God?? Maybe I think too much.
I do know that in 1st John there is some intersesting verses that say "In the Beginning was the Word". Possibly translate that to information, or existence. So maybe in the Beginning of time, if there was a beginning, there was the information that created matter based on goodness. Another eqution Information + Goodness = Creation
I hope I'm not embarrassing myself.
I do believe in God. I was reminded how real he is just yesterday.
There are many mysteries to be revealed, possibly when the enemy (Satan) is removed God will be able to reveal more.

No one God cannot be created as the verses of the quran state clearly that neither god had any children and neither was god given birth at any time.Believe the quran as what it says because it has authenticity as the function of thios world is operated according to the way its described in the quran like the world being operated daily, monthly, annually and so forth... until time will come when all will be destroyed except for allah and the rest will be given a second life to be heard of their accounts.Read Chapter 27 midway and you will have a better idea of why god is not created i know its against what we believe in the outside world. However, the first chapter of the quran speaks about belief of tolerence that faith is only accepted in islam if you believe in tolerence aswell.

First of all, I don't believe in the Christian God, but according to the theology I've read, God is the uncaused cause. To assume God was created would imply something before; therefore one would logically wind up in a never-ending cycle of "what made that?"
Christians get around this by saying that the only thing that was ALWAYS is God. Because God is eternal, he required no maker. This, though is all conjecture as there is no way to prove or disprove the existence of any eternal being. It is something that you believe or not. Seems that's the eternal question.

God is the unmoved mover. If one thing created God, then that would mean "that" was created by another.....and so it goes on for infinity. There cannot be an infinite amount of causes for a movement, that is illogical. Therefore, at the end of it, or as we like to start.....God is the creator, the uncreated being who resides in Eternity.

Why would you believe that a God who could create everything would have been created?

But god didn't create everything.
If, for instance, you are talking about a good and all-powerful god, then how is it possible for there to be an adversarial devil, with whom this god person is always fighting. Doesn't sound very all-powerful to me.
Logically, therefore, if we follow this line of argument, then god can't be all powerful, nor could he have created everything.

Ok the fact what everyone says that god wasn't created bcoz hes the creater, Thats just being nieve, Every creator has a creator and so on, The chances are that something happened that made god i dunno but no 1 can say how god was made or that hes not made by any1 esle bcoz u need 2 b dead to see him and when u say "Science backs it up" remember that scientests thought that the atom was the smallest thing in the world until they cracked it open, So u can't rely on science to solve that mistery.

Does it not reveal who created God amongst all of the preconceived, culturally embedded, changeable notions established overtime? Aw, that's sad. Anyway, regarding this statement "God was never created...He is the one who created everything..Even science backs this up." Science backs it up? Lol, take some theories in reference to the existence of God and the scientists will scorn you within seconds.

I have a wierd explanation but hear me out.
Say you were blind but you for some reason wanted to be a color theory expert. You read all the books (in braille), got all the degrees and even got awards for your advances in the subject. You finally decide to concentrate on the color green, and you become the best color theory expert ever. One day a little girl asks you which crayon she is holding is green, but you can't answer because no matter how much you study you still cannot see the color green.
That is why we will never have an answer to that question because no matter how much we study we are "blind" and cannot "see" all of what God is.
