I appreciate your concern about parents.
Dear friend, whenever we eat or drink something, there is something that attracts us . It could be taste , smell, feeling or health related issue. What parents advice you is based on the fact that they are the best who know about you, are really concerned about giving you the best. They don't want even a slightest of problem to waver around you. In light of this background, giving up this small desire shouldn't be an issue.
Further, we all quit many big favourites on a single mention by our girlfriend or boyfriend. Be the one who did this for parents, be different & you'll be proud of this decision.
Be the strong willed winner. All the best . Let me know your decision !!!

You should listen to your parents. They are only denying you cokes b/c they are trying to do what is best for you. Cokes are very bad for you. They have a lot of acid in them, and the chemical they use, "high fructose corn syrup" is plain sugar and cannot be used for body functions, so it just turns straight to fat. Yes, this would not be a problem drinking as few as you do. But coke is VERY addictive, believe me I know. I've tried to get off them, and it's like trying to get off cigarettes. If you continue to drink them now, you will drink more in time when you have the chance. Once that happens, you will gain weight you will not be able to lose. Cokes put a lot of lbs on you not only because of their high calorie content, but also because of their high sugar content. Also, the acids are bad for you teeth.
Besides you shouldn't be disobeying your parents if it makes you feel bad. Not only are you hurting your body when that is what they are trying to avoid, but you are also hurting your conscience. Stress over the thought of disobeying them can lead to even more issues.
The ball is totally in your court. I've told you my opinion, but it's up to you to make the choice. Sneaking a coke is not the worst thing, they ought to be happy if that is all you are doing, but there are just so many downsides to it. I hope my opinion gives you one more way to look at it and helps you make up your mind. Good luck.

Well, I don't know how old you are but their decision may change when you get older. Is there a religious reason they have for you to not drink caffiene?
My daughter is 11 and I just recently started letting her drink coke, and only occasionally. My reason for not wanting her to have it is mainly because caffiene is not good. I didn't want it to affect her sleep. I have a friend whose daughter used to drink soda with caffiene and she was having night terrors. Not just nightmares, but night terrors. They couldn't figure out what was the cause for over a year. They finally figured out it was the caffiene from drinking soda. So she quit drinking soda with caffiene and immediately the night terrors went away. Amazing.
The other reasons given in other answers are also good reasons not to drink it, but I think as long as it's in moderation (meaning only once in awhile) as a treat would be okay, with your parents permission. Also, all carbonated beverages leach calcium from your bones, contributing to osteoperosis (thin bones) later in life (even carbonated water).
If their reason is that they don't want you to have caffiene, ask if you can drink caffiene-free coke.

Coke's not good for you, it's almost a known fact worlwide. But people still drink them because they love it so much it seems like without it they can't live. Does addiction ring a bell in that situation? Your parent love you and gives you freedom, the true freedom, of not being tied down by anything or addicted to anything.

#1, you're disobeying your parents. #2. coke is not good for you.
#3. You feel guilty about both.
I think that's more than enough reasons to quit. Dont you?

I would discuss it with your parents and see if there is a strong reason for not drinking Coke.

Drink an energy drink (sweet or sugar-free) instead of nasty useless soda which give you zero performance benefits besides the little caffeine they give you. *evil villain laughter mixed in with maniacal giggling*

WELL, I DONT KNOW. THEY MUST HAVE THEIR REASONS. ANY SODA IS BAD THOUGH...TOO MUCH SUGAR, TOO MUCH CAFFEINE, TOO CARBONATED...I KNOW THAT IT MAKES MY FACE BREAK OUT....BUT YOUR PARENTS HAVE THEIR REASONS.....YOU SHOULD ASK THEM WHY....DO YOU KNOW THAT THE ORIGIONAL COKE COULD TAKE THE PAINT OFF OF A CAR AND CLEAN JEWELRY....IMAGINE WHAT ITS DOING TO YOUR INSIDES
