I sceen a survey where every women had it where they would only date a man taller or the same height as them selves. Is this true? I being 14 and only 4'11 am now worried I will be lonley for the rest of my life now :( Will I?

I have only dated one man shorter than i am but that's because I'm only a hair over 5'0 . Height has never been a factor for me and as women mature, height becomes less important to most of the women who do care. It is highly unlikely that you will stay your height permanently unless you have a medical condition that prevents growth. The link below will calculate your estimated adult height. No. It's not true. But they do have a tendency to prefer men that are taller. It goes back to the primal need to have someone protect you. You can make up for your short stature by adding confidence (and perhaps some muscle). If you're self-assured, that goes a long way with women. But don't limit yourself to black/white thinking either. I've seen gazelle model-type women with guys that are four or five inches shorter. Well, one actually.

No, this is definitely not true. Everyone has their own standards of dating and appearance. Some women like dating tall men, others like dating short men. You have nothing to worry about.
You're still very young, and that means you still have a lot of time to grow. Besides, There are many girls out there who don't event care about your height. Most of the good girls care more about who you are and what you like, not your height.

While it is true that tall men are more attractive to women, short guys who have other good qualities will not go lonely. Besides height, women like sensitive, funny, smart and (let's be honest) rich successful guys. Basically confidence will make a short man as attractive as a tall man.
You are only 14, you have years and years to grow.

i do know that i always try to date girls that are shorter then me (sorry, but its easy for be, being 6'2") but i have 3 older sisters, and they always are talking about the hight of guys. one time my sister went out with a guy that was just half an inch taller then her. she obsessed for a week before a dance trying to find short saldles that fit her dress. i guess what i am trying to say is that a girl likes the security (or something) of a taller man, but if a girl really likes you, then she wont dump you for being short.

It's a bit odd but I've dated shorter men. I have a 6 foot 5 inch boyfriend and I am only 5 foot seven. Everyone feels differently...

My best friend's husband is like 5'5" and she is 6'. Not all women feel that way and you are only 14. Wait within a couple of years you will get taller.

but everyone is different. I personally would never date someone shorter than me because i like masculine guys and short guys dont seem masculine to me. however a couple of my friends date guys who are shorter than them, and one of the couples are getting married. so it really is a matter of taste
