you train a cat to use the toilet by placing it's litter box on the toilet. after a period of time you remove the box and the cat puts it's poopy in the pottie. sounds like a pain in the @$$ to me.

I know it's possible because I once saw a show about it on Animal Planet. It was years ago though and I don't remember how the people went about training their cats to use the toilet. Sorry :-(

I wouldn't train my cats to use the toilet and I don't think it is a good idea for more reasons than one.
The main reason I wouldn't is because the lid can fall and knock them out and or kill them. Not worth it. I'd rather just scoop their litter box.

We actually have trained them to use toilet, cat's litter box and to go outside. Everything depend on the weather, are we home or not and what are we doing.

If you have a wish to do something, everything is possible.

well.. i guess, yeah...
but i think they also learn it themselves...
we didn't really "potty-trained our pets" but they learned to...
if they wanna go and they're inside the house, they make this certain noise that becomes like a warning for usand do let them out... why?

No but I don't think I would like an animal using the same facilities that I use. I don't know just seems kind of unsanitary.

No, but my mom's cat trained itself to do it.

This really ISN'T a great idea, as they don't clean it up if they "miss" and hit the seat.
