i was thinking maybe im lacking some files for me to run limewire properly please help me :(

your virus protection might be stoping it.limewire is full of virus's you might have to disable it to download.not recomended though.

keep in mind sometimes it takes a little while for files to download, especially if it's not a very common song, because you have to take turns from people, also other people might be on slower internet connections.
also, your internet company might be blocking limewire. If so you'll have to try another program, or maybe try another internet company :)

Have you checked your Firewall Settings? Maybe the port on which limewire works is blocked.

Probably a virus. I get lots of them from limewire. Only my anti-virus software protects me!

in case you are able to connect with the internet then its no longer your connection it would want to be your firewall. i do not advise Bearshare, the loose version comes with secret agent ware. when you consider that limewire runs with java it will be a source hog. i advise Ares. you are able to disable your firewall at the same time as using the p2p which may be risky or configure your firewall to apply the p2p.

I have that problem too. I think because it's not a "legal" program, it's harder to download. I suggest you just listen to the music from lime wire. You cant fast forward or anything, but you can listen to it at least.

dont use limewire it is ILLEGAL. the FBI can track ur computer activity.
