Yes, if it has eggs in it due to salmonella.

Being a Pastrychef I test alot of things in the raw dough form, so I would have to say no. But I also don't eat alot of it in one seating either maybe about the amount of a 1/2 cup in a day but not everyday. I also have staff that play fight each other to get my mixing bowl, so it is not bad for you as long as it is in small amounts

The acid in your stomach removes all the water from the cookie dough, causing the flour to separate, then when it mixes in your intestines it forms a sort of glue... people put wallpaper up with flour and water, if that tells you anything. Plus the egg in the cookie dough will give you diarrhea, and uncooked, could contain salmonella. But I eat it all the time, and I haven't died or gotten stopped up yet, so I think you're ok. Just don't make a habit out of it.

I can't say... but the raw egg would be a risk unless its been in boiling water for a set amount of time to kill something that is supposed to be under the shell ( can't remember how long you have to have it in boiling water ) 30 secs maybe
but why would you want to eat it raw??
it will be nicer cooked
& also your Mum is clever if you are eating all the dough before she gets a chance to cook the biscuits LOL

Raw cookie dough isn't always the best thing to do considering it hasn't been cooked yet, but it is edible. Just don't be shoving the whole tub down your mouth. =) But... just a little on occassion is okay.

The raw eggs can be bad for young children and pregnant women, but there are not enough in there to harm most other people as long as the ingredients are fresh and not left out long.

no it doesn't matter for the raw eggs. my friend drinks 5 raw eggs in a cup for breakfast and she actually drinks them. they are not whipped or nothing. so no raw home made cookie dough is not bad for you !!

I always thought it was the eggs, so we make ours with EggBeaters (and eat it raw). I have never heard of bad flour.
