Don't listen to anyone who attempts to discourage you about it! Go with what your heart feels. That feeling is what is called the "Light of Guidance"...nur al huda...

Sister, either way, I think you should at least learn more about the religion and the message. May God guide you and guide us all...

I've been a Muslim for many years, and there's absolutely nothing that anyone can tell me that will ever make me stop practicing Islam. Out of all the religions I've studied, it makes the most sense...Actually, I don't consider it a religion anymore. To me, it's more a "way of life"...

There is no "dark side" in Islam. There is however cultural and traditional influences in the lives of people that sometimes contradict Islamic teachings, but you will come to separate the two as you learn more about the important and core beliefs...

Islam is the right path, and it will guide you to a pure and content life. Don't listen to these brainwashed idiots that have the gall to insult our veiled, respected women but manage to worship the imprudent women in strip bars, with no dignity whatsoever. This question shouldn't be open for discussion amongst a group of people who are blindfolded and prejudiced by American media representing the Islamically unlawful EXTREMISTS as a depiction of the overall Muslims. No, our religion does not promote burning and killing innocent people. Our religion does not promote war and destruction. Islam is wholly based on peace and pureness. And most importantly, remember to read the Qur'an, it's the #1 spiritual Holy book that you can use to exercise your faith towards Islam. The truth lies in the Qur'an, not in preconceived notions of ordinary men, not in the Islamic extremists, not in the American media. But in the Qur'an.

well one can join Islam only after completely understanding it. get to know more. try clarifying ALL your doubts, so that finally you should know it in your heart -- that it is right for you. i say this because, if there are doubts in your heart after entering Islam and then you arent satisfied, then that would be doing injustice to yourself.

if you wish to, then please try visitiing a local mosque and asking a female or male scholar (Maulvi) about everything -- try a female because you wont have to hesitate asking anything about the feminine issues too. if you would like, then i shall get you a copy of free online Qu'ran -- so that it will help.

also please bear in mind that you should not convert for another person -- man or women. you should do it only for Allah -- for Allah says that accept Islam whole-heartedly.

28 Unto whomsoever of you willeth to walk straight.
29 And ye will not, unless (it be) that Allah willeth, the Lord of Creation.

may the peace and blessings of Allah be with us and may He guide us in the right path. may He shower His mercy on us and protect us from Hellfire.

have a nice day and peace.

Do whatever feels right in your heart. If you're leaning towards islamic religions, then that's what you should do. Judging from your nick name, you must have been doing quite a bit of research to have come to a decision like that.

Personally, I study a lot of different religions in my spare time. (I said STUDY, not necc. particpate in). It's very rewarding, to learn how others beleive. It helps open a person's mind.

I think you should do whatever you feel is right in your heart. If you truly want to be a Muslim then go ahead, don't listen to anyone here. Alot of people don't know the actual meaning of Islam. But if u wanna know more to help here is a truly inspiring story about a christian priest who became Muslim! his story is so beautiful!

Hi =)

My name is soly , I am from K.S.A.,

I’ve seen many places of the world on TV screen and few that I’ve visited either for fun or/and business

As you know when we travel we meet a lot of different cultures and people,

I found in many places I’ve been to; that people stereotyped Islam (that's my religion) they prejudge Muslims from what they see in media incidents.

Allow me to share with you here some information about Jesus Christ,

Muslims believe in Jesus Christ (peace and blessings of (Allah = God) be upon Him as one of the mightiest messengers from (Allah=God),

We believe he is born miraculously by the word of Allah without Father

Like ADAM Been created without father nor mother,

And Marry (mar yam) is his mother the pious, pure female may Allah be pleased with her,

In fact there is a chapter in Quraan titled Marry

Let me quote here these verses:

“BEHOLD! THE ANGELS SAID: O MARY! GOD HATH CHOSEN THEE AND PURIFIED THEE –

CHOSEN THEE ABOVE THE WOMEN OF ALL NATIONS ”

And this Verse About Jesus:

“HE SHALL SPEAK TO THE PEOPLE IN CHILDHOOD AND IN MATURITY, AND SHALL BE (OF THE COMPANY) OF THE RIGHTEOUS.”

If this is a Quiz asking you where these Divine verses come from the Bible Torah or elsewhere?

THE Answer for your information it is from Quraan 3:45,46

This shows how much we need to know about what others believe.

Information to know about what other believes?

And Allah granted you and me wisdom, brain, and heart to judge for ourselves?

Needless to say if you have any comment, question, suggestion I'll be glad to share them with you.

ِAny way I hope to hear from you sooner,

GOOD Luck !

I personally think Christianity's a better choice. You don't have to earn your way to heaven. As long as you believe in God the father, God the son, and god the holy spirit, you'll get to heaven.
