In school, I was taught that body hair was meant to 'catch' dirt, grime, etc. and stop it from entering our pores so easily. Similar to nose hair, I guess. I haven't a clue why we have hair in between our legs.. Hair on our heads is dead cells...did you know a person's hair continues to grow after they pass away?
