When my supervisor tries to have a conversation with me, his eyes blink about twice a second, What is this an indication of? I don't notice it on most people but talking to him is a little distracting.

Thanks for all the answers, I'll have to draw straws or something to decide who had the best one. It could be dust as we are in Saudi Arabia but it's constant with this one guy, been going on since the first of the year, I think it's either nervousness, deception, or the condition most of you mentioned.

Thanks to all, wish I could give everyone best answer.

There are many conditions that can cause this. Culture is one, irritation of the eye is another, nervousness. If you are not the one suffering from this, then don't worry about it. If you have to look the boss in the face, focus on the nose or lips instead if it bothers you.

He may have dry eye. Taht makes you blink a lot. He also might have turet's syndrome, which is a nervouus condition that he cannot do anything about. You probably won't get used to it, and he will never get better.

I don't know what it is,but I've seen it before,I had a uncle that was like that it is constant. He got hit by a transfer truck,I often wonder if the reason it happened didn't have something to do with this terrible problem.

It's a tick. Probably had an old eye injury of some sort. Likely that it comes out when he's nervous.
