I am half-Chinese/half-English, and more white guys ask me out than Asian guys. What's up with that? I go to college in California, so my university is 45% Asian and less percentage White. (It's Berkeley.) However, 80% of the guys who have asked me out have been White...

I'm trying to get more experience in dating all races.

Easy? I'm a virgin...idiot.

I have dated a lot of guys, but it's a huge campus. There's 30,000 people at UC Berkeley. Nobody knows others' business...

I'm half Japanese and half white. Same problem, well I don't consider it a problem. The Asian guys I have met tend to be a little put off that I'm not some subservient little Asian girl, and yes they see that I am half Japanese. I am up front and vocal. I have a male Japanese friend I went to college with. We were great friends and hung out a lot. I liked him for a little bit. I asked him and he said no just because I asked him out! He said the man was supposed to ask. He also said he wanted a more traditional Asian woman! So, I asked one of my other Asian guy friends who liked American girls, not matter what color. He said that our friend wanted the bow lower than the man, cook, clean, speak only when spoken to, seen but not heard kind of Asian girl. He also said that most Asian men, including him, tended to be a little more shy than American guys. I hope this helps a little.

Check this, its not about more experience, the more you get the more youre considered a ho...but im not calling you that. I think the reason that white guys ask you out is cause of the suspence you carry....and youre different....not a bad thing. Go for it. Let it be known that youre proud of who you are and who you want to be....So what if a white guy asks you out....He may be the one youre looking for....

asian guys tend to be more reserved and arent exactly as involved with girls as white guys are. as for me, im asian and A LOT of the guys that ask me out are asians and its kindof awkward becuase it creaps me out a little [i dont have the greatest relationship w/my dad and they all seem to look like him]

wanna trade? haha.

well think about it...white guys are more open in their relationship or they are more prepared for it, it is also include how they have been raised....
well considering that im half Italian/Vietnamese..
asian guys are raised differently.
maybe they want a good relationship and they are waiting for the perfet one, or maybe simply thy are shy, another fact comes in that problably they want to study..and they dont think about the love relationships

I'm not so sure girl. They must be intimidated by the mixed-ness... I am part Chinese and black and yet none of them ask me out, only the white guys...... You're not alone is what I'm trying to say
