Lol... well, ok, typo aside.
A 'common' mountain bike might be describes as a cross country, which should be light, the geometry is to be more peddal efficient, easy to turn, travel at the fork is from 80 to 100mm, and if it's a full suspension bike (suspension at both wheels), the rear also matches the front. The distance of the horizontal top tube (well, the distance from the handlebars to the saddle) is large, and it has narrow handlebars.
A downhill bike is very strong, usually weights almost as double as a XC rig, most all DH bikes are full suspension, from 8 to 10" travel (double the XC). The wheelbase is large to make it more stable at speed, usually the fork is a triple crown to make it stronger. The weight of the bike is mostly unimportant, you will use a ski-lift or shuttle to get it to the top. The headtube angle is slacker to make it more stable.
You also have a freeride bike, which although it is very strong as a DH, it has different geometry, the bottom braket is higher, the top tube is shorter to make it more agile.
Then there's all mountain or trailbike, which is somewhere in the middle of XC and Freeride.
4X bikes are very tough, but also the travel is short, and usually hardtails.

Unfortunately, there is no universally accepted standard definition for the height of a mountain or a hill although a mountain usually has an identifiable summit. In the United Kingdom, a mountain must be over 600 meters (1969 feet) or over 300 meters (984 feet) if it's an abrupt difference in the local topography. However, some hills can be called mountains and some mountains can be called hills - it's just a matter of the original name given to the relief.
