I think that maybe when it's still a big popular thing, people will want to get into the game more and it might work a little bit...but as everything dies down, people may lose the spark of swinging their arms around and will try to find easier ways to do the actions without as much movement. People tend to go for the easy way out after a while, sadly...

Well, for certain games like Wii Sports and other games that implement the motion sensing capabilities of the controller, it will burn calories. But other games such as Super Smash Bros.: Brawl which doesn't use the new Wii-mote but uses the 'retro' controller it probably won't.

Well nintendo is comming up with the hand held closed fist controlers that will totaly make you move around...
