Dear disturbed {NOT FOR LONG},
This may not sound radical but, the very first thing you should do is call a friend on your cell phone (for your mental heath support-system) AND while you're receiving moral support take a 20-30 minute brisk walk or use a cross-trainer etc. (to increase your endorphin output into your bloodstream). The longer you do 'any' type of aerobic activity, the more endorphins will bath your body from the inside! Just doing these two things will take the edge off your feelings of depression, but won't cure it.
You need a medical professional to seek a cure either through:
www.ClinicalDepressionDirectory.com
or
NIMH: Clinical Trials: Depression
Clinical Trial and Brain Imaging in Adults & Adolescents with Depression. Treatment study; ...
http://www.nimh.nih.gov/studies/2mooddisordersdep.cfm
WE'RE ALL PULLING & PRAYING FOR YOU ...DON"T GIVE UP !!!
I gave you a thumbs-up for being so proactive & reaching out for help. Continue your proactive behavior (check out web-sites below) & you'll feel better soon.

I hope that you are receiving care from a doctor, first of all. The doctor will counsel you and, if you need it, out you on medication to get you through the rough time. Many people are too embarrassed to see a doctor, but there is no shame in getting help if you need it. Anyone that says otherwise is a fool. Help is out there. Please get it! Prayer is good, but sometimes you need a little backup for awhile. Good luck.

True prozac, on a higher dosage. It has worked for me and i have a very messed up life too. I have been depressed for years and finally am gaining some sense, but then agian what works for one person may not work for someone else. Find a good counsler or psycatrist and talk to them. You need to do more then just take meds, you need to talk to someone who know what they are doing, it helps.

Second what BellyRubz said. I've heard people say they ask God to heal them, but nothing happens, then they say they don't have enough faith. The way I see it, God works through other people -- counselors, doctors, even people who invent medicines, people who dispense them at pharmacies, people like social workers and others who help. Check the yellow pages under Mental Health Services. Blessings.

Go talk to your doctor. If you cannot afford one, most social service places have a mental health resource. The most important thing is to get help and you WILL feel better. Take care!

ure not messed up.....to an extent....im right there with u....ive tried dealing with it on my own and i cant handle it....went to the doc for antidepressents/anxitey crap....theres a reason for all this...what triggers it?...stay away from what ever makes u feel this way.....look for something in your life thats good a focus on that....do something good for ure self....i wish we could magically be happy and feel better...the **** sucks....go to the person u care about most and that cares about u most and talk to them about it....it feels so much better...and go to the doc...drugs can help...we cant live our lives this way...god is testing us and not doing this to hurt us....we will learn something from this experience as stupid as that sounds....believe in peace and it will come to u......
