...when you know Politics is the domain of the Devil?

And have you actually met a righteous politician? Self-righteous may be, but not righteous.

have you ever met a poor politic? have you ever read what God says about money? I don't care who you are their is no true follower of Christ who can be a politician. The sins of our time right now is all because of money and how it takes your eyes off of Him. In fact any person who does get put into power doesn't get put into power due to doing God's plan. It is mans plan to control and God tells us to stay away from those in the end times who claim to be of God and yet take part in satans plan. face it people everyone in this country has fallen from God. It isn't until Gods wrath will we understand.

First of all, Christians have the duty to fulfill the will of God to the best of their ability, whether in politics, the military, or in the community. The devil has dominion over the Earth, but he can not control Christians due to God's power. And not only is NO politician "righteous", neither is ANY Christian. Only God is righteous. Christians are sinners and are suppose to go to hell because of that sin. However, because Jesus died on the cross for our sins, if we accept this truth, we too may go to heaven.

Why shouldn't Christians be involved in politics? If we weren't then those who are Anti-Christian will only rise to power! No where in the Bible is it written that politicts is the domain of the devil. Just because polititcians are mostly dirty, doesn't mean we have to sit back and let them be. If you don't stand up and take a stand you're only going to let everone else walk all over you.

1. No. it absolutely is NOT wrong.

2. A Christian would never make it as a politician, at least a second term. If he lived in a Christian "District". That would be in his favor.

It is a very corrupt society. Thats why he would have a problem with the 2nd term.

I'm not saying: There are not Christian politicians. I just have to ..hmmmm..be concerned.

Are you implying that we should have no right to vote because we believe in God? That we should let only unbelievers decide our future and lead our country? The very earth is the domain of the devil. Does that negate our right to live here? No.

It is our duty to try to elect representatives who truly represent what we believe in and stand for. We are to make informed and prayerful choices at the polls. If a politician is corrupt that is something he/she will have to answer to God for.

This reminds me of a very interesting song I heard on a Christian Station a few years back.

Part of the lyrics say "In it (the world), not of it."

Basically, as Christians, we should be involved in the world and we should try to do everything we can (even in politics) to do what is right!

But, while we are doing all that we can "in it"... we should not succumb to its temptations. Basically, if we're gonna be Christian politicians, we still shouldn't lie, cheat, or basically sin freely like the rest of the politicians.

Sure! Why not? I'm not only a Christian, but also an American. As an American it is my duty to vote and be involved in politics.

Just remember to give to Cesar what is Cesar's and to the Lord what is the Lords.

Of course it is right for us to involve ourselves in politics of this world..."render unto Caesar." But it must be done with an informed conscience, to do otherwise would not be living up to our obligations of being Christian and living in this world.

Well if you ask me God chooses who the leaders are, yes the people have a say in it, but God is the one that ultimately lets that person do the job.
