Lott's daughters got him drunk before he did the dastardly deed (so he wasn't fuly aware of what he was doing).
Besides, if I recall, in the case that Peter is talking about, Lott is one of the few who are allowed to leave Sodom before it is destroyed, because he was righteous. This happened before he got drunk and made his daughters pregnant. People can go from being righteous to unrighteous.

This is one of the many reasons I Know that when the Lord saves you
you will ALWAYS BE SAVED.There will be multitudes of people that
will be save As By Fire. They will have to go before a Loving Savior and
be punished and shamed for not striving to earn REWARDS to give to
Jesus showing their Love for Him.They will have all the hay, wood and
stubble burnt out at the Be ma Seat Judgment all Saved will go before
Jesus. Judgment will start at home.
2Pe 2:7 And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:
2Pe 2:8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)
The Sad thing is that if Lot would have witnessed to his own wife and
two daughters and their husbands they would have been saved and thus stayed Gods judgment on Sodom. That should make us Christians be more serious about our witness. Our walk will be the only Bible most people will read.
In Christ in Love,

The "righteousness" described here in Lot is relative: compared to his neighbors, Lot was a fairly righteous guy! Remember, when confronted with beautiful strangers, what did the homies in Sodom want to do?
RAPE, MANGLE, BEAT, KILL
Compared to people like these, Lot almost looks like a saint.
Also, this description covered the period of Lot's life up until his departure from Sodom. His sordid drunken orgies with his own daughters don't make the cut! In fact, he probably would have fit in just fine in Sodom, if he had done that there.
Scary thing to consider: what did Lot's girls learn from their neighbors' attitudes about sex and family? By putting up with it for so long, Lot laid the groundwork for the incest that flared up later. The whole story is tragic.

Luke wrote the so-called honor roll of saints, but Lot is not one of them. Hebrews 11
Ok, Lot was saved from Sodom and Gomorrah. That is what Peter said 2 Peter 2:6-7-8

Yes, Lott did impregnate his daugher. However, he was tricked into doing so by his daughter. In essence, both of his daughers got him so drunk he did not know what he was doing, and then they "lay" with him. I don't remember if both of them got pregnant or only one.
Lott was called righteous because he was the only person in Sodom thought worth of saving by God. When angels were sent to Sodom to see if anyone was worth saving, they were attacked by a group of men who wanted to "know" them. Lott rescued them and put them up in his house. When the men tried to break into his house, Lott offered them his own virgin daughters to save his guests (the angels) the humiliation of being raped by men (neither he nor the men knew they were angels at this time, as they appeared to be men). Somehow it worked out that the mob did not want his daughters, and left. The angels then warned Lott and his family to get out of the city and not look back.
Lott's wife looked back and was turned into a pillar of salt.
It is widely though that Lott's daughters thought that all humanity had been destroyed and that it was up to them and their father to repopulate, which is why they tricked him into having sex with them.

well actually what had happened was that his daughters got him drunk and slept with him to perserve the family line. It's pretty gross but true. It wasn't his idea. I still gag everytime I read that part.
