Peanut butter pattie served in school recipe needed? AKA john wayne's?

My hubby loves these and my son's would too I think can anybody please help me find the recipe. Thanks so much!!

My mom worked in school food service for years and she brought home the recipe, but it was for about 300 kids. We tried to cut down the recipe and it was okay but not quite the same.

Here you go:

Peanut Butter Fudge

Cream 4 cups of peanut butter with 1/2 cup margerine
Add 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Add (slowly) 4 cups powdered sugar and blend well.
Pat into a cookie sheet and freeze.

(seems to me she lined the pan with waxed paper).

Somewhere in my stack of TASTE OF HOME magazines, I have a recipe for PBFudge which uses marshmallow fluff, and almost boiled milk. It gets REALLY high marks but I am at a loss where the recipe is... if you don't mind receiving an email, I'll try to look for it over the next few days and send it off to you.
