Tell me what to eat for breakfast: Grape-Nuts with banana slices or chocolate chip waffles (I haven't had the waffles in FOREVER, ever since school started actually and I'm craving them, but the cereal with banana slices is healthier). The waffles, though, will amount to less calories. Help me with this decision please.

Why not Grape-Nuts w banana slices and a) chocolate syrup drizzled over the whole thing, or b) toss in some granola and raisins as well, to make the Grape-Nuts more flavorful?

Although the waffles may amount to less calories, you will most likely wind up hungry again sooner if you eat those. So, if you have the waffles and then get hungry again sooner than if you'd have eaten the cereal & fruit, you'll eat more calories anyway by your next choice of food.

Also, I think the grape nuts has a good deal of fiber and fiber is one of those neat things that help keep that full feeling longer.

Last thought: You will probably get more of the essential vitamins and minerals your body needs from the cereal and bananas.

I think that it would depend on what you're doing for the day. Like if you're going to have a test, then the cereal would be a better option. If not, then go ahead and have your waffles.

the best thing is to always calm your cravings. eat the waffles because youll keep eating junk food until you satisfy yourself and the only way is to eat the waffles. then go back to eating healthy.

you sound like eat healthy food already .. eating few waffles should not harm you .. go for it .. remember god gave as some properties in our bodies to digest food

have your waffles, if you havent had them in a long time then go for it, just don't eat them all the time.

I would go with which ever you are hungry for, but don't eat the same thing everyday, 'cause thats worse than eating something unhealthy once in a while!
