Talk to people who you wouldn't normally talk to. It doesn't have to be a long conversation, just comment on the salad in the lunch line, ask somebody if they've heard of (your favorite band), tell somebody you like their shirt, and see where it goes from there. Ignore the haters, being emo, goth, or punk is great; just don't think that because it's what you like best, it's all there is. Well, good luck.

Post on Yahoo! Answers what you should do. :) Just kidding. Join the Yahoo! Groups from emo, punk, and goth. Also start going to the clubs to see your favorite bands, keep going long enough and people will notice you. You will start to interact with them and sure enough you'll have more friends. Especially when you start asking each other if your going to the show next week to see Gen X. Basically join the groups online, go to the clubs. It worked for me :)

Start looking and acting like a normal human being, and you might have a lot of friends. When you are old enough to get out into the real world, you won't get very far if you look like a freak.
Be more interested in other people than in yourself.

Anyone who refers to themself as "emo" is a loser, sorry.
Punk, goth.. cool. Emo sucks a** though. Just my opinion.

well..... you should talk to people outside your group besides goths and punks and skaters, try preps or blacks because there are alot of cool poeple out there you just never know, explore your horizon ,,
