I have several old policies that have been paid in full but the company was bought out. I need to find the new company but dont know how!!!

Your best bet is to call your State's insurance commissioner. Ask to speak with the Company Licensing Unit / Department. Each insurance commissioner is responsible for keeping this information on file.

You could either call your states Insurance Commissioner--they should be able to help. Or another option is to try searching the web. Yahoo, google, wikipedia would all be good soruces. Just search for the name of the insurance company and you will likely find a link.

The agents that you bought them from can give you the information provided they are still sell ins. If not google search the old company name one of the listings might be able to point you iin the right direction.

Insurance companies are licensed and have a governing association. You can Google it.
