Yeah. I agree with you. But what do you mean by less intelligent anyway? Does it mean whether or not the person has a degree or no, or is it just whether the person is naturally smart?
I would date them because to me what's inside counts. How the person would treat me etc. It sucks if you date a person because he/she is intelligent but doesn't listen...

I wouldn't because I don't enjoy being around unintelligent people. Sure I enjoy having fun and being stupid but there are times when I want to discuss important things that require intelligence.

If they're not as intelligent as me than they need to at least have a desire to learn and have plenty of knowledge. Hard work is more powerful than natural intelligence but ignorance plus stupidity makes me homicidal.

I have, but they are boring. I need someone with a sense of humor and can talk about almost any thing. Likes classical music and not rap, but then I am an older person.

I don't think you know everythin there is to know as I'm sure the other person doesn't either so yeah why not... my ex knew about things I didn't and that's what made it interesting

I sure would and did...hell I even married him, he cheated and I kicked the bum out. Now that makes me wonder how intelligent could I actually be if I didn't see that coming?

How much less are we talking? I mean, most people can't stand to talk with or even be around someone who talks or acts like their 40 IQ points south of the border. I for one couldn't take to much from someone who wasn't at/around my level.

Sure.....we all excel at different things anyhow. Perhaps your date is less intelligent than you in history,....but perhaps she has a great mind for psychology.
