What is the most awful, largely pathetic road kill you have encountered?

Any deer that has been hit by an 18 Wheeler and dragged a few miles. Or the possum I swerved to hit on purpose when I was a teenager. I really really hate possums. I was with my mom and dad one night fishing by the river near our house when a possum jumped out of a tree right next to me and scared the living crap out of me. I was only 5 or 6 at the time. I've despised those nasty little suckers ever since.

A pregnant doe that I hit with my car while on a date. Totally splattered the hood and windshield of the car while Elvis was singing "Love Me Tender." True story. Did not get another date with the girl either.

a raccoon that had been smashed flat and was left by the side of the road so long the everything but the bone and fur was left.
