Yes. Paul was forgiven. ANYONE can be forgiven.
Romans: ALL SINS ARE FORGIVEN. period.
That doesn't say..ALL..but one.
Jesus Himself said: Blasphemy is unforgivable. True.
Why does the Book of Romans say "all sin is forgiven? Why was Paul forgiven? Let me tell you why.
Jesus lived in what age? The Mosaic age. He lived under the Laws of Moses. It was unforgivable then. Jesus spoke of the "age" to come. what age? Age of Grace. All things can be forgiven through Grace. That's why Paul was forgiven. It became age of Grace, Acts Ch. 2. Day of Pentecost. That's why the book of Romans is AFTER the book of acts.
Good Q*.

The only sin that can't be forgiven today is the sin of failing to accept God's gracious gift of his Son's life as payment for your sins. The "blasphemy of the Holy Spirit" was a form of that sin that Jesus spoke about when people who saw Him perform miracles attributed the work to the Devil. In their hard and stubborn hearts they lied about Jesus because they didn't want to give up their authority as religious leaders when He was here on earth. That sin cannot be commited today as is evidenced by this passage that was written and Jesus had gone back to Heaven.
1 John 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.
Today people who don't want to give up authority over their own lives to God commit a form of that type of blasphemy. But someone who goes around trying to scare people who think that a spiritual gift might be a satanic counterfeit by telling them that they are risking committing the "unpardonable" sin are full of baloney and since their doctrine isn't from God it could very well be that their gift isn't from God either.

Mat 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
oh and you have to know God first to comit ths sin, that is you have to have already been baptized in jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghost, then backslide to blasphemy the Holy Ghost.

All sins are forgiven by Jesus Christ if you ask for forgiveness. But, it is best to live a life like Christ would and try not to do these things.

Blasphemy of the holy spirit is referring to denying the holy spirit when he attemps to lead you to Christ. Therefore, if you are not led to Christ you'll not be forgiven.
