Depending on the person, maybe it's just because all the loony people are the ones who are TOO religious, or maybe the ones that go to church are the ones that feel like they owe something as they've sinned too much and need repentance...I'm proud of the fact that I don't affiliate myself with such an organization that is based around these fanatics. I'm glad there are people like you to recognize that this pattern is a little backward and the institution is strange to begin with ;-)

I'm truly sorry you've had bad experiences with people that have labeled themselves as Church goers.

Just remember, even though people go to Church or read the Bible doesn't mean they have a relationship with the living God. Going to Church or reading the Bible doesn't make me anymore of a Christian than me standing in a garage and labeling myself as a car, makes it true.

What makes a Christian is someone that follows the teachings of Jesus Christ, repenting their sins and asking Jesus into their heart. It's that simple.

Please refrain from grouping all of us together. There are good and bad people everywhere.

Probably because either the people you are talking about are at least honest enough to know that they are bad and go to church to try and get better or they are hypocrites who have never really been saved and who are just putting on a front to look good. Unfortunately for the "good" people you describe, they have been deceived into thinking that all on their own they can be good enough to get into Heaven. That's not what God says though.

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 10:9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

that don't make you all bad,why do you think that they dump the old people and employee only the young naive as you and i are we come of age, we weave The true fabric of life it may not fit anyone but our selves so the more that is revealed to you the more you have to keep it to your self as it is only shooting your self in the foot when you say as much as you know and feel it is looked at 180*degrees in the wrong light and in the wrong text and in the wrong direction. so by the time you unravel half the world you have a mess and the other half is what you were trying to get to so you could see it for what it was. that's why they had to have the computer so that if you could would you and what you you think if you could know?

Of course not ALL people who got to church are bad. It just seems like that sometimes because so many times their actions don't go with what they say they believe and so many of them are very happy to tell you what they believe but go hostile when you point out their lifestyle inconsistencies. I just spent a weekend with a co-called Christian so my mind is still reeling with all the hypocrisies I observed. lol

All of us Bad people are the ones who can admit that we are bad and need help while all the "good people" think their "good works" for people who they love (which is not really all that hard to do ) is going to help them get into heaven...Fact is sweetheart we are all full of every kind of evil and need to be born of the spirit to change. It is the sinner ( the ones who can admit it) that will seek and receive forgiveness, denial does nothing for you except keep you blind.

What church do you attend? I'm not going to dignify this question with an answer. When did you start speaking for all Christian's? You have no idea what your talking about. Enough said.

Funny, isn't it, how all the bad people do the same thing and all the good people do, too. Nice neat world you live in, maybe you should visit this one some day.

Now, that's a bit of a generalization, don't you think? A little bit unfair?
