What are some fairly easy ways to get volunteer hours? Where are good places to volunteer, and where are places that aren't worth the trouble. FYI, I was going to babysit my cousins, but my school doesn't allow babysitting to count. Even if you don't get paid.

Oh,hun there are plenty of things to volunteer for.Go to a nursing home in your area and read to elderly patients.Pick up garbage along the highway or your road.Go to your local homeless shelter and volunteer to help serve food.There are plenty of things you can do.Good luck with that.It is excellent you are going to volunteer.Have a good day!!

i don't think of it will be required. some households have economic issues, and probably the children ought to help themselves extra, by technique of having a job. Having college and a job leaves little time for volunteering. besides, volunteering might want to be something you want to do. no longer something you're compelled to do. some might want to argue that when you consider that colleges looks for volunteering, it is in a sense required

Try senior citizen centers, hospitals, teachers at your school. I think they want you to prove that you are good citizens not just academics.
