Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, is when you reject the work of the Holy Spirit, even until death. The Holy Spirits job is to reveal Jesus Christ to you as Messiah, and the only true way to salvation. To blaspheme the Holy Spirit, is to reject these truths, even in death. This is what they call the Impardonable Sin.

blasphemy is when you do any thing that the religious folks don't find appropriate. That's all...pretty simple.

It is a sin to use the Lord's name in vain. That is one of the ten commandments. "Thou shalt not use the name of the Lord in vain."
