My orthodontist name is Jerome, how would you pronounce this? Is this another form of Jeremy?

This seems like an odd question, but he has never actually SAID his name to me and I have been curious if it is simply Jerome, or it is spelled similar to this.

Thank you for all your answeres. I wanted to add that I asked because I had never met a blonde-blue-eyed man names Jerome and wanted to make sure it wasn't a form of Jeremy or something else.

My friend goes my Jer-um. I think it's from the Book of Mormon or possibly the bible, so if he's Mormon, this is how to pronounce it. lol. It could also be Jer-oh-m or Jeremy
