Seems strange that God would greate a person just so God could send him to hell. I don't find that a nice thing of God to do.

If God knows everything that has & will happen, then he knew Judas would betray Jesus before he was born.

Judas had a choice because God gave us free will. But, Jesus knew that Judas would betray him. It was planned before the foundation of the world. Everything was set in motion for a reason. The reason was so that Jesus could die on the cross for our sins. Jesus gave up his life they didn't take it. He gave it up to save us from our sins.

God created Free Will also. it was Judas's decision. God didnt say, Ok Judas, this is what your gonna do...Judas went with Satan and betrayed the Son of Man.

Rather you like the idea or not all people have a purpose and God knew that Judas would betray Jesus so yes. God will use good and evil to fulfill his purpose.

no, i think Judas was like the rest of us and had free will. unlike the rest of us, Judas got the opportunity to live with Jesus for three years---and he still chose to betray him.

i've read stories that Judas was a Zealot and believed Jesus was the Messiah. His betrayal was an attempt to set in motion Jesus' takeover of the Roman Empire and the subsequent crowning of Jesus as an earthly king. if he thought that---then he didn't listen the whole time he was with Jesus.

I believe Judas had free will. Judas could've listened to Jesus and been forgiven for his thoughts of betrayal. I don't profess to know what would've happened then---would the Priests of the Sanhedrin have come with their soldiers and guards and just arrested Jesus anyway---without Judas' kiss of betrayal?

i don't know. all i know for sure is that i believe Judas was just like us--he had free will and he blew his choice.

God created man with a free will, Judas didn't have to go to hell. He could have accepted Jesus' free gift of salvation and gone to Heaven, but he didn't

There is really no way anyone can answer that.Who knows. Judas may not be in hell.I know that Jesus' life and crucifiction was all destiny. He new Judas was going to betray him, so maybe that was destiny too. I can't bring myself to believe that that was Judas' pupose and then he went to hell.

If God only creates these little things and has to answer your questioning about them, then He is really smaller than you. In this case, you, and any petty minds like you are gods, intelligent gods, arrogant gods.
The One True God, worshipped by billions of religious followers throughout millenia, is the Creator and Sustainer of all visible and invisible worlds and creatures, and nobody has the right or the power to question His love and justice.
As a created being with god-given rational sense, you can only resign to His will or to rebel against it, to inevitably receive at the end the result of that responsible choice with blissful thankfulness or with bitter lamentation according to His omnipotent love and justice.

It was Judas' purpose to betray Jesus, but he didn't have to commit suicide afterward. Just like Peter denied Christ 3 times and "wept bitterly", and later became the Rock of the church because he didn't allow Satan to influence him like Judas did.

God created Judas in his own image, it was Judas who decided to betray jesus, God gave us free will and it was Judas's free will which led him to betray Jesus. God created us for his own glory, its our own stuff ups which lead us to go to hell. GO TIGERS!!!

God is sovereign. He created Judas knowing both that Judas would choose to betray Jesus and go to hell. He also created Esau, and the Bible says that God hated Esau BEFORE he was even born.

This passage I am quoting is from the Bible, from Romans 9. If you read it carefully and understand it, it will answer your questions.

And not only so, but also when Rebecca had conceived children by one man, our forefather Isaac, 11 though they were not yet born and had done nothing either good or bad—in order that God's purpose of election might continue, not because of works but because of his call— 12 she was told, “The older will serve the younger.” 13 As it is written, “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.”

14 What shall we say then? Is there injustice on God's part? By no means! 15 For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” 16 So then it depends not on human will or exertion, [2] but on God, who has mercy. 17 For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.” 18 So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills.

19 You will say to me then, “Why does he still find fault? For who can resist his will?” 20 But who are you, O man, to answer back to God? Will what is molded say to its molder, “Why have you made me like this?” 21 Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump one vessel for honored use and another for dishonorable use? 22 What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, 23 in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory—
