A complete philosophy is one which does not require one to learn by doing. A complete philosophy is one which leads one to become wise - and completely removes the possibility of mistakes from the person.

You have asked a very basic question. Both religion and science tell that we should learn by experience. Which actually means both religion and science haven't got the essence of understanding. Man keeps practising science and religion for whole life, and keeps making mistakes.

What makes one a fool is ignoring sense experience. Aristotle says that, ultimately, all knowledge comes from sensation. From sensation we acquire memories, from many memories we gain experience, and from experience we draw out universal principles, which can then be applied to a myriad of subjects.

You only learn from mistakes if you draw the proper universal principles from them.

Good luck on your philosophical journey. Don't let the sophists sweet-talk you into fallacies.
