i know pineapple has tons of sugar..can i gain weight from eating it then?

It has natural sugars, but it's not fattening.

If a person does have diabetes- they shouldn't be eating too much though.

everything you eat has calories including fruit...assuming that you wouldnt eat a whole pineapple at one time it shouldnt do any damage.but beware pineapples have very high carb count and that is due to sugar and some starches. Personally i think its ok to eat as much fruit as you like especially if you are craving it.

I guess if you ate tons of it, sure. But pineapple is MOSTLY water, so not fattening, just sugary. If you're diabetic, stay away. Otherwise, enjoy.

One cup of cubed pineapple is 0.7grams of fat content. That is fresh pineapple.
You can get pineapple in tins..check if it is in natural juice or syrup..syrup has LOTS of sugar.
Sugar stores itself in your body just similar to what fat does, any that is not used will be stored. Dangerous if you are diabetic.

More importantly. If you just eat pineapple you will get acidic urine and you may even run to the loo to open your bowels due to the high Vitamin C content...so, the best advice is, eat fresh foods, lots of it, in moderation..sample everything and don't just stick to one type of food :)

pineapple containst natural glucose. it is very healthy.
avocadoes are fattening.
not pineapple.

Those are natural sugars,You cant gain weight from that.Eat up yuor pineapples gal!

Everything has calories so you can gain weight from eating a lot of anything...even veggies and fruits. However you can eat a lot more of those without gaining as much weight as eating tons of sweets or red meat.

Low in fat, high in natural sugars, swimming in syrup (more sugar) if you get it in a can. Nice fiber content.

Definitely better than fries.
