Every state doesn't celebrate it but it's a holiday like Valentine's Day. You treat it as such. Not as big as Valentine's day but as a couple the man of course takes the woman out to dinner and whatever else. Gifts are appreciated by both parties and just saying Happy Sweetest Day is fine. But you better mention it or else. Don't stress yourself about it. There isnt a card that says Happy Sweetest Day or anything but here in Michigan we celebrate it.

A way to get people to spend money. A fake valentine's day. It's really senseless.
