He has alot on his mind, and not the MOST romantic, but anything, even just a little sticky note would be nice. But how do I get this to him without being obvious?

ummm... boys usually don't get hints. just say... did you know sweetest day is coming up? do you want to go to dinner or do something special? if you want to do something, just say so. otherwise, you can't get mad if he forgets! especially with sweetest day. i forgot once, myself!

Does he even know what Sweetest day is? I am sure MY husband does not. I never did either until about 3 years ago: I had this really pathological friend who was always doing whatever she could to get a gift out of anybody, and of course SHE knew about Sweetest day. My advice to you is not to hint. I know from experience, if you didn't even know there WAS a Sweetest day your quality of life would be no poorer. Give him a break, he is a guy, it's bad enough he has to remember Valentine's day.

F sweetest day. Look up the history of it . its got nothing to do with romance and everything to dowith helping shutins and orphans and showing love to people who don't ordinarily get it so don't go fishin for stuff for you unlessyour a selfish b*tch

Tell him that you're looking for a really lame way to waste money. Preferably on a holiday invented by the people that make cards.

Ignore him. If he asks what the problem is, tell him you are being ignored. And, you would like a little attention, from time to time. Tell him what you like and what you want. Men are stupid and don't have the faintest idea what a hint is.

Just tell him that it's coming up. I think it's just a rip off of valentine's day.

You should just be blunt about it. Tell him how you feel. Talk it out. Tell him you two should make time together.
