It is a wooden holder with two small glass canisters in it. The opening for them is about 2'' and they are see-through. The lids don't have seals so I don't really want to use them for food. But I don't really know what to use them for.

They tilt toward you a bit; they don't stand upright so they wouldn't really be good for flowers. :/

Depends on you... I would prob use them at my sewing desk to hold buttons and zippers and such. It's really great if they have the loop to hold the scooper- you can slip your scissors in there!
And I know my FI would love them to hold nails, nuts and bolts in his work shop!!
Just think of something that you need to organize better or sort- and but them to use there. I also like the bathroom idea above!
