How can people give tumbs down for people describing their families beliefs? How can you make sense of that?
Personally, my mom believes in god although has doubt about all earthly religions. My dad believes in some cosmic god like einstein did. My aunt is a Christian that buys into televangelists. My grandmother and gradfater are catholic. My Uncle, his wife, my 2 cousins, are all Christians, but only one of the 2 cousins still attends church.

My brother is a born again Christian and a pastor of his church but being British he adheres to liberal, common sense Christianity, rather than the strange evangelical variety.

My life partner is a born again Deacon, my two daughters are Christian. They're just not bigots, so I'm very happy for them that they have something they believe in.

I do. I have 4 siblings. We were all raised Mormon. I'm now atheist. I have one sibling who rejected Mormonism but is very Christian, and another sibling who would probably claim to be agnostic but might still be a closet believer. My other two siblings are still Mormon, one of them fanatically so.
